  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • A few drops Liquid Smoke (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions:

Prepare the Beans:

Begin by opening each can of pork n’ beans. Carefully pour off all the standing liquid from the top of the cans and discard it. You want to use only the beans themselves for this recipe.

Transfer the beans to a large pan set over medium heat.

Flavor the Beans:

To the pan of beans, add the ketchup, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and optional Liquid Smoke.

Sprinkle in the garlic powder and pepper.
