EASY DELICIOUS SHRIMP SCAMPI

Shrimp Scampi

Shrimp Scampi is so quick and easy. You will just be in shock by how delicious it is, and that you’ve already eaten it in the time it takes to make another meal. Okay, let’s get started.

TIP: Don’t use frozen precooked shrimp to make this recipe, the taste and texture will be subpar.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 12 oz shrimp
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter divided 
  • 1 tbsp garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 3-4 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste 

Shrimp Scampi

INSTRUCTIONS

1 ) Season shrimp with salt and pepper.

2 ) Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and 1 tbsp butter. Add shrimp and cook for at least 2 minutes then flip and continue to cook for another 2 minutes. Transfer to a plate.

2 ) In the same skillet melt remaining butter add remaining oil. Add garlic cook until translucent then add red pepper flakes. Deglaze the pan with wine, add lemon juice stir continuously on very low heat for about 6-8 minutes sauce should be reduced. Season to taste.

4 ) Add back the shrimp and toss to combine. Sprinkle with parsley.
