HOT CHOCOLATE AMERICAN STYLE

INSTRUCTIONS:

1 ) Into a saucepan over low heat, add some milk and reserve 3 to 4 tablespoons of milk for cocoa powder mixture.

2 ) Into another mixing bowl, mix cocoa powder, 3-4 tbsps. Of milk and mix the slurry until you get a smooth paste (this will just prevent lumps in your hot chocolate). The ratio of cocoa powder to milk is much less, there’s no cornstarch and sugar quantity is variable in this recipe.

NOTE: because there’s no cornstarch, you really don’t have to wait for this to boil, as soon as it starts to heat up is basically done. So, it’s much faster to make.

3 ) Heat up and then stir in the chocolate, and mix until the chocolate fully dissolves and it’s ready to enjoy.
