Meta Launches Standalone MetaAI App to Personalize Your AI Experience

Meta Launches Standalone MetaAI App: Personalized AI, Voice Conversations, and Social Feed

Meta is taking a bold new step in its artificial intelligence journey. CEO Mark Zuckerberg just announced the launch of a standalone MetaAI app, designed to make AI more personal, social, and accessible than ever before.

In a video posted today, Zuckerberg revealed that nearly one billion people are already using MetaAI across various Meta apps. Now, the company is offering a dedicated app that allows users to have deeper, more personalized interactions with their AI companion.

“MetaAI is designed to be your personal AI,” Zuckerberg explained. The app is built with voice conversations at its core, encouraging users to speak directly to MetaAI about anything — from news and learning topics to personal challenges. The goal is to make the experience feel as natural and supportive as talking to a friend or a mentor.

At launch, personalization will be basic, using a small amount of context from users’ interests across Meta’s platforms. However, Zuckerberg emphasized that over time, MetaAI will be able to learn much more about you and your close relationships— if you choose to allow it. This could potentially make interactions smarter, more intuitive, and more meaningful.

Beyond just conversations, the MetaAI app introduces a social feed where users can discover how others are creating with AI. Whether it’s generating art, writing stories, or brainstorming ideas, the feed aims to inspire creativity and build a stronger community around AI innovation.

Another key feature: the app will eventually serve as a hub for managing AI-powered devices, starting with MetaGlasses and expanding to other AI devices Meta plans to launch in the future.

“This is just the beginning of what’s going to be a long journey,” Zuckerberg said. He encouraged users to download the app, explore its features, and share their feedback to help shape its evolution.

With this move, Meta is not just expanding its AI footprint — it’s setting the stage for a more personal, social, and integrated AI ecosystem that could redefine how we interact with technology every day.

MetaAI is now available for download.
