Easy And Affordable Baked Chicken

One of the reasons this baked chicken is so adorable by people is that it’s budget-friendly, and almost anyone can afford it… simply because, chicken is one of the cheapest meat when it comes to price, but can also be enjoyed by most people. So if you don’t have the budget to add multiple meat options, then consider adding chicken.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1-2 lb chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mayo
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4-5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped for garnish 100% optional
  • sriracha to taste 100% optional

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

1 ) Marinate your chicken pieces or whole chicken overnight with a mix of Your favourite chicken spice + Chutney (optional) + a bit of olive oil.

2 ) Bake in a baking tray (on a sheet of baking paper) in a preheated oven (170°C) for 45 – 60 minutes.

3 ) Remove and serve.

 

Notes :

1. Ideally cook your chicken when you are close to serving

2. Do not overcook your chicken because it will burn or dry up.

3. Consider having extra marinade for basting in between the baking.

Tip on improving the aesthetics :

1. Use nicer chicken pieces – ie for me that would be drums and thighs or uncut whole chicken
