OVEN BAKED HONEY GARLIC BBQ RIBS

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 racks pork or beef ribs about 6 lbs
  • 1 jar barbecue sauce
  • DRY RUB
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 1-2 teaspoons cayenne pepper depending on the heat level you like

INSTRUCTIONS:

1 ) To prepare these mouthwatering oven-baked honey garlic BBQ ribs, begin by preheating your oven to 275 degrees Fahrenheit. Next, create a dry rub by combining the necessary ingredients in a small bowl and setting it aside.

2 ) Rinse the pork ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Proceed to remove the membrane from the back of the ribs by following the instructions provided in the how-to link provided.

3 ) Using your hands, spread the dry rub evenly over the ribs, ensuring that both sides are adequately coated. Then, wrap the ribs tightly in foil, making sure to place them meat side up, and place them on a baking sheet.

4 ) Bake the spare ribs for approximately 3 hours and the baby back ribs for about 2 hours, or until they are fork-tender.

5 ) Once the ribs are cooked, carefully open the foil and drain any liquid that has accumulated, and brush your favorite BBQ sauce onto the ribs and broil them in the oven for 5 minutes.

6 ) Finally, remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing them up. This recipe serves 4-6 hungry guests, making it the perfect meal to share with family and friends.
