TWO-INGREDIENT PIZZA DOUGH

This homemade two-ingredient pizza dough recipe is so easy that we’re going to make the dough with only 2 simple ingredients. If you’re a pizza lover definitely you’ll enjoy this quick and easy homemade pizza recipe. Better Than Little Ceasars, dominos pizza, papa johns pizza, and pizza hut.

INGREDIENTS

  • For the sauce:
  • 14oz chopped tinned tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
  • Salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • For the dough:
  • 17.6oz greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, plus 60mls
  • 1 tsp flaky salt
  • 17.5oz self-raising flour
  • To assemble and bake:
  • 7oz pepperoni
  • 14oz sliced mozzarella cheese
  • 4oz Pecorino Romano cheese, grated

HOW TO MAKE THE SAUCE:

1 ) In a large saucepan heat, olive oil over medium heat.

2 ) Add garlic, and cook for about 50-60 seconds, then add the tomatoes, oregano, and sugar.

3 ) Season to taste with salt and bring to a simmer and cook for about 14 to16 minutes, and set aside to cool.

HOW TO MAKE THE DOUGH:

1 ) In a mixing bowl, combine flour and yogurt together and mix until they form a ball.

2 ) Transfer the ball out onto a lightly floured work surface and knead for 6 to 9 minutes.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1 ) Pour half of the olive oil into a 20 x 30 rimmed baking sheet and spread over the surface with your hands.

2 ) Roll the dough out to roughly fit in into your baking sheet then transfer to the baking sheet and spread out gently with your hands, pushing and stretching the dough into the corners of the pan by pressing out from the center. When the baking sheet is covered,

3 ) Once the baking sheet is well covered with the dough, sprinkle it with the salt and set aside for 25 or 30 minutes while you make the sauce.

4 ) Preheat the oven to 250 C / 220 C fan. Cover the surface of the dough with the remaining olive oil and top with slices of mozzarella cheese evenly over the surface of the pizza. Spoon sauce on top of the cheese and spread with the back of a spoon.

5 ) Top with the pepperoni slices and then sprinkle with half of the pecorino. Transfer to oven and bake for about 25 minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the remaining half of the pecorino and serve immediately.
